National Workforce is going paperless

Over the past few years, National Workforce has committed to reducing the use of paper across all of our offices. Unnecessary use of paper places great strain on the environment. Many organisations are making the move towards becoming paperless, and we believe we can achieve this as well.

How are we going so far?

  • By the end of May 2017 we had used 176,000 sheets of paper.
  • By the end of May 2018 we have used 92,000 sheets of paper.

We have almost halved our use of paper.

How have we reduced our use of paper?

  • By using double screens. Working with two screens allows staff members to enter information directly from one screen to another, and avoid printing.
  • All invoices are filed electronically instead of being printed.
  • All timesheets are also filed electronically.

Other ways National Workforce is eco-friendly:

  • We recycle any paper that we do use.
  • We recycle our toner cartridges via the Planet Earth recycling service called ‘Close the Loop’.
  • All of our company cars use the E10 Unleaded petrol.
  • Our light bulbs are LED florescent.
  • We separate our waste in two ways – general waste and co-mingled recycling i.e. cardboard, cans and bottles.
  • We recycle our coffee pods.

National Workforce will continue to reduce the use of paper. Stay tuned for more updates soon.
